Temperament
Temperaments in Alaskan Klee Kai puppies can vary significantly from one individual to another. Conformation
We believe in finishing our dog’s AKC championships either before or shortly after being bred. We also mush our dogs recreationally when the weather allows to assess their structure on the trail.
Nutrition
We believe in evidence-based nutrition for our moms and neonates. We feed moms 30% protein and 20% fat content with carbs making up 20% of the diet, and we supplement additional zinc and omega-3 fatty acids.
Health & Longevity
We are up-to-date on the latest genetic research and pay attention to both the Embark-tested genetic COI and pedigree COI of all our dogs. Our dogs are OFA tested for hips and eyes as well
Grooming
Overall the Siberian Husky needs very little grooming compared to other breeds, no trimming of hair is needed, just a regular brush to remove any dead hair. Do not shave, strip or clip your husky close.
